Need help with your introductory accounting class? Beta Alpha Psi members are here to support you! We offer free online tutoring sessions every Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, clarify concepts, and receive personalized help from experienced accounting students. Whether you’re preparing for an upcoming exam or simply want to get ahead in class, our tutors can provide the guidance and support you need. Resume & Interview Workshop for CEL Projects
Thursday, April 24th at Noon
Description: In collaboration with the Center for Career Engagement, learn how to appropriately list your CEL project on your resume and how to speak about your experience in an interview.
Careers in Accounting: Prof. Plunkett recently welcomed Peter Rodriguez, VP of Finance at St. Louis City SC, to campus. Peter discusses his start in auditing at EY and how his career progressed to working in industry, up to his very interested career leading all things accounting and finance at our MLS soccer franchise. His journey is a prime example of the unlimited options indicative of starting one’s career in public accounting. Peter also gives his thoughts on the state of the profession for new professionals, compensation and work-life balance. |
