Paige LaRose (she/her/hers)
Senior Associate Dean & Director of Undergraduate Programs
Dean LaRose oversees all aspects of the undergraduate program including academic advising, student development, admissions, and academic integrity.
Dean LaRose began her career in higher education working in collegiate athletics. She has worked with business students at Olin since 2008. Dean LaRose earned a B.A. in History from Truman State University, a M.Ed. in Higher Education from Texas A&M University, and holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University.
She loves to explore new restaurants and shops in the city of St. Louis. On the weekends, you’ll find her on a hike, gardening or spending time with her three kids.

Joy Addler (she/her/hers)
Event Coordinator
Joy started at WashU in the fall of 2021, serving as the Event Coordinator for the Olin Undergraduate office.
Joy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Stage Management from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management.
Before coming to WashU, Joy worked as the Performing Arts Manager for Variety the Children’s Charity, overseeing their inclusive theatre, chorus/dance, and summer camp programs. She has also been working as a freelance event planner and stage manager throughout St. Louis for nine years.
Outside of work, Joy loves to attend local theatre, travel when she can, and do anything active!

Shawn Brodie, Ed.D. (he/him/his)
Associate Director of Undergraduate Advising & Student Affairs
Dr. Brodie joined WashU in Summer 2022 and oversees a number of undergraduate academic affairs processes, as well as serves as a four-year academic advisor.
Dr. Brodie earned a B.S. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2008, an M.A. in Professional Counseling from McKendree University, and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Missouri Saint Louis in 2021. He spent several years working in the mental health field before beginning his career in higher education as an academic advisor in 2012.
Outside of work, Dr. Brodie enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs. He is an avid film buff who also enjoys visiting breweries around the country, playing music, and cheering on the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.

Yoon Groves, PhD (she/her/hers)
Assistant Dean & Director of Academic and Student Affairs of Undergraduate Programs
Dean Groves joined WashU in the summer of 2012. She oversees student development and academic affairs for Olin undergraduate students. She is also a 4 year academic advisor, 2nd major advisor for Financial Engineering, and finance minor advisor.
Dean Groves has sixteen years of experience in higher education. She has worked in student affairs, academic affairs, and career services. She holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Missouri – Columbia, a M.A. in Student Personnel Administration from Saint Louis University, and PhD in Higher Education from Saint Louis University

Annie Hyde (she/her/hers)
Assistant Director of Undergraduate Global Programs
Annie joined WashU in fall of 2023 as a member of the Global Programs team. She assists students with planning, implementing, and leveraging their experiences with Olin’s numerous international study programs. Annie also serves as a 4-year academic advisor in the Undergraduate Programs Office.
Annie has worked in the field of education for more than 18 years, including holding teaching and administrative positions at both international and domestic institutions. She earned a B.A. in Education from Saint Louis University plus an M.A. in English Rhetoric and Composition and a Certificate in TESOL Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Annie loves to travel and collects lapel pins from each new country she visits. Locally, she is most likely to be found at seasonal festivals, Cardinals baseball games, or musical theater productions.

Sarah Jimenez joined WashU in Fall 2024 as a Global and Academic Advisor.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Diversity and Social Justice from Fontbonne University, where she also had the enriching experience of studying abroad in Oviedo, Spain. She furthered her education with an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Sarah launched her higher education career at UMSL as the International Student Support Coordinator, where she specialized in supporting international students, managing immigration processes, and programming campus events.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with loved ones, and is an avid cat lover. Don’t hesitate to ask her about her cat, Chiquita!

Spencer Morgan (he/him/his)
Academic and Student Affairs Advisor
Spencer joined the Olin Undergraduate Programs team as a four-year academic advisor in summer 2021.
Prior to coming to WashU, Spencer earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an M.A. in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University, where he worked in community engagement and peer mentoring programs. He also worked in residence life and advised student organizations at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, for two years.
Outside of work, Spencer enjoys pop culture and trivia, exploring local “hidden gem” food and drink spots, the experience of seeing movies in theaters, and taking mini road trips.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
My joined WashU in the Summer of 2021 as the Administrative Assistant and smile-spreading front desk receptionist for the Olin Undergraduate Programs team.
In addition to assisting academic advisors and working with students, My loves talking to plants, gardening, hiking, creating upcycled art, spending time with family, and acting as a therapy human to support their tiny rescue dogs, Edgar Allan and Poe.

Global and Academic Advisor
Michele joined WashU in Fall 2021.
Michele earned her B.B.A. in Management and Music Business from Belmont University where she studied abroad in Melbourne, Australia and London, England. She earned her M.A. in International Education from New York University, where she studied and interned abroad in South Africa. She also worked at Stern School of Business in International Exchanges & Special Programs, Advising, and the Deans Office as a graduate student.
Michele enjoys traveling, cooking, and attending concerts. Outside of work, Michele can be found hunting for the best coffee shops, exploring new areas of town or with her dog, Vegas.

Anna joined WashU in the spring of 2021 and serves as a four-year academic advisor in the Undergraduate Programs Office, working with both BSBA and BUCs students, in addition to finance second majors.
Anna earned her B.A. in Criminology & Sociology from Cabrini University and her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. While at Cabrini, Anna studied abroad through Semester at Sea, and she worked at the University Honors & Scholars Center during her time at Ohio State.
In addition to working with college students, Anna loves to bake, spend time with her niece and nephew, and explore the many restaurants and coffee shops St. Louis has to offer. She is also an avid sports fan (St. Louis, Philadelphia, and the Buckeyes).

Anthony received his B.A. in International and Area Studies (focus on South Asian languages and cultures) from Washington University and his MSEd in college student personnel administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Prior to joining Olin, Anthony served as a Washington University College Advising Corps college adviser at Sumner High School in St. Louis, MO and as an academic advisor at Saint Louis University.

Genesis Steele (she/her/hers)
Assistant Director of Academic and Student Affairs –Undergraduate Programs
Genesis joined WashU in the Fall of 2019 and the Olin School of Business after transitioning from the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement in the Spring of 2022. She oversees student organizations, will work with mentoring and summer pre-collegiate programs, and is also an academic advisor to four-year students and a second major/minor advisor.
Genesis has a wide array of experience in higher education spanning over 20 years. She has worked in student affairs and academic affairs and holds a B.A. in Communications and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Washington.
Genesis enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Kennedy, photography, volunteering, sports and salsa dancing.

Sara Stratton (she/her/hers)
Director of Olin Global Programs
Sara came to WashU in June 2018. She manages a number of Olin’s semester and short-term programs abroad. Sara works with students before, during, and after their time abroad, as well as with the short-term faculty-led domestic programs. She is also a 4-year academic advisor, and advisor for the International Business and Business of Entertainment minors.
Sara has worked in higher education for a number of years across the US and Spain, most recently working in Global Education at M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA. She earned her B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa & her M.A. in International Higher Education & Intercultural Relations from Lesley University.
Sara is a travel enthusiast, both domestic and international, and a connoisseur of useless trivia. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, exploring all St. Louis has to offer, and baking.
