Where is your hometown? How long have you been in St. Louis? At WashU? I grew up in a small, rural Missouri town, about two hours west of St. Louis. I’ve lived in Texas, Iowa, and have resided in St. Louis since 2004. I started working at WashU Olin in March 2008!
What do you do here at Olin? My title is Senior Associate Dean of Undergradute Programs. I work with the Undergraduate Programs staff to enhance the Olin undergraduate experience through advising, study abroad programming, and co-curricular opportunities.
What is something that you’ve done/accomplished in your time at WashU/Olin that you are most proud of? I’m really proud of the relationships that I’ve developed with colleagues and hundreds of students over the past 16 years.
What do you like to do outside of work? I like to garden, travel, go on walks, and watch my kids’ games (volleyball, soccer, and basketball).
What’s your favorite thing to do/place to go in St. Louis? My favorite thing to do in St. Louis is try new restaurants. Top spots for me right now include: Little Fox, Modern, Quarrelsome Coffee, and Lona’s Lil Eats.
